Our customer Jo Bowles has created a professional treatment room in the comfort of her own garden. Jo decided to combine her quality of care from nursing with her passion for holistic therapy and as a result Energyze: Bespoke, Holistic, Skincare was born.
Jo came to GCS and asked us to help her create an insulated treatment room for her garden that she would be able to use all year around. Lee was happy to help, conducting a site visit and supporting the design process. Jo opted for a bespoke Lugarde summerhouse selecting a top hung frosted glass window to provide her clients with privacy whilst allowing air flow. Jo has added electricity to her garden room so that she is able to use specific machines to enable her to carry out her treatments. The building measures 3m x 2.2m the perfect size for a treatment bed with room for all of the products Jo needs without feeling crowded. The aim was to create a peaceful and inviting space where clients could receive tailored treatments away from the noises of day to day life.
Being in nature surrounded by peace, tranquility and a brief respite from everyday life offers the perfect setting for a treatment room. Jo explained the advantages of working from a garden room "it is a place where I can put my uniform on, deliver treatments and switch back off into home mode. I don't have the overheads of a shop and my clients benefit from that undisturbed quiet one on one time" Jo receives frequent compliments from clients about her garden room. We love the personalisation of the room; the inclusion of plants and relaxed lighting make an inviting and tranquil atmosphere for Jo's lucky clients.
When moving house, Jo returned to GCS and asked us to relocate her treatment room into her new garden. GCS were able to dismantle and re-erect the garden room so that Jo is able to continue working from her new home.
Jo plans to share her expertise and passion for reflexology by enrolling on a teaching course. GCS would like to wish Jo and Energyze: Bespoke, Holistic, Skincare continuing success.
